Area students have made the spring 2012 dean's list at Roane State Community College. To be eligible, a student must attain at least a 3.5 grade-point average while attempting 12 or more semester hours of college-level courses.

Area students have made the spring 2012 president's list at Roane State Community College. To be eligible, a student must attain a 4.0 grade-point average while attempting 12 or more semester hours of college-level courses.

Area students have made the spring 2012 dean's list at Roane State Community College. To be eligible, a student must attain at least a 3.5 grade-point average while attempting 12 or more semester hours of college-level courses.

A Roane State Community College graduate has received the Lincoln Memorial University transfer scholarship, which provides full tuition.

A Roane State Community College women's basketball player has received two honors for her athletic achievements.

Roane State Community College opticianry students won scholarships to attend the Contact Lens Society of America's (CLSA) annual conference. CLSA is dedicated to the education, evolution and promotion of contact lens technology. The organization held its conference April 25-28 in Newport Beach, Calif. Students were asked to write papers to win the scholarships, and 11 Roane State students were chosen. Honorees were:
